description de l'activité / description of the activity : Students have to come prepared to discuss the sociological/societal topic assigned for that week and in a round table format debate and reflect on how this topic is in 2024-25, the good, the bad and the ugly of it. Then they board the “time machine” and go back to the 1950s, 60s,70s or 80s and, based on research,conversations, exploration do the same for that topic in that time period. Then they “come back” and compare the topic in both periods, before they reflect on which time period they would like to live in, at least for that issue.
