description de l'activité / description of the activity : The group is divided in 4 teams. Each team has a different set of instructions to figure out a molecular structure (all teams have the same molecular formula). Once they have completed that part, team 1 and 2 will compare how their specific structures affect their intermolecular forces. (Team 3 and 4 do the same.) Team combinations change after a few minutes to be able to compare all the structures.
