• Approximately 10% of a cohort (maximum) at any time admitted into the Honours Social Sciences Degree.
  • Admission of students is left to the Honours Social Sciences Degree coordinator based on entry criteria: letter of motivation, interview, and general first impression during class. The interview will involve all available social science professors. Later on, the students will need to maintain a grade higher than 85 in each social science course throughout their CEGEP studies.
  • The letter of motivation should include the following: projects or major accomplishments realized in the past; major social science fields of interests (e.g., civil law); and a suggestion of a research project that they would like to carry out during the next two years.
  • The official admissions are around mid-September, once the students' first grades are posted.
