Rubric Research Framework Part 3 (Title, Abstracts and Acknowledgments
For each element:
• Full marks given if the content matches the criteria and is clearly formulated, rigorous, and presented with reasonable detail.
• Half marks taken off if content at least partly matches the criteria, but is poorly expressed, implausible or superficial, or lacking reasonable detail.
• Full marks taken off if the element is absent, completely inaccurate, or severely problematic.
Title, Abstracts and Acknowledgments ( / 10 )
Title
• The title is short (10 words or less), punchy, and appropriately connected to the research project. [ / 2 ]
Abstracts (in both French an English, join total of 200 words — the English version is typically shorter than the French).
• The abstracts are clear, to the point, and do not jointly exceed 200 words. [ / 2 ]
• The information provided by both abstracts is the same. [ / 2 ]
• The abstracts briefly mention how the final output is connected to the research project. [ / 2 ]
Acknowledgements (remerciements) — approximately 50 words.
• The acknowledgements mention key people, outside of CISA, who played in an important role in the research. [ / 2 ]
