Rubric for Research Poster (Results section)
For each element:
• Full marks given if content matches the criteria.
• Half marks taken off if content partly matches the criteria.
• Full marks taken off if the element is absent, completely inaccurate, or severely problematic.
"Results and Discussion" section of the research poster [ / 10 ]
Approx. 300 words.
• Results from all methods of data collection used in the research are presented. If some of the results were dismissed, or a method of data collection was discarded, appropriate reasons are provided. Graphics are used whenever possible. [ / 2 ]
• Whether results support or do not support the hypothesis, or are consistent or not with the research objective, is explained explicitly. [ / 2 ]
• The discussion makes appropriate caveats regarding methodological limitations. [ / 2 ]
• The discussion incorporates appropriate references, consistent with APA standards, to items in the bibliography. [ / 2 ]
• Results are presented and discussed in a clear and legible fashion. The first person is used sparingly and only when necessary. [ / 2 ]
